Common FAQ:

1. What Is Included In My Knee Scooter Rental?

We carry two types of knee scooters manufactured by either Roscoe Medical or Dalton Medical. Both knee scooters include a basket and dual pads for increased comfort. Same day delivery available in many cases. Knee scooter rental rates are starting at $35 per week.

Our scooter for knee offers increased comfort and ease of mobility to patients who cannot put weight on their foot or ankle, but want to remain active. With its four large wheels and padded knee platform, the knee scooter is perfect for indoor and outdoor use.

The offset post on the aluminum knee platform allows for right-to-left adjustment in seconds - no tools required. The knee scooter is equipped with an easy folding mechanism that collapses using a thumb release lever and fits beneath the raised knee platform for ease of storage and transportation. - Roscoe Medical

2. Are Knee Scooters Better Than Crutches?

Many seem to find that knee scooters serve as better aids for mobility than crutches. People often get irritated with their underarms when using crutches. They also find it more difficult to move freely. Knee scooters evidently remove that concern. You have the ability to push yourself off of one foot while steering yourselves in right direction.

If you're not sure about which would be better for your needs then give us a call at (713) 880-4000 and ask if we have one available so you can try one out in our showroom the same day.

3. Can I Get My Knee Scooter Delivered?

Yes, you can get your knee scooter delivered straight to your home! We understand that many people may be disabled or simply not have the time to stop into a shop and pickup their knee scooter.

We make this process simple for you. Just give us your address when you call us to reserve your knee scooter rental and we will give you a rate for the delivery.

Once the information and payment is confirmed on the phone, we will be on our way with your knee scooter rental based on your specific needs for delivery.

We can deliver knee scooter rentals on the same day in many cases based on knee scooter availability.

You can even receive a discount on your knee scooter rental delivery charges if you tell us in advance to have it both delivered and picked up on certain days.

4. What if I Decide To Purchase My Knee Scooter Rental?

You can gain a real advantage by renting our knee scooters first if you’re interested in purchasing a knee scooter later. No matter if you rent our wheelchairs for a week or a month, we will apply your 1st rental period charge to the purchase price of the rental knee scooter.

5. Are Knee Scooters and Knee Walkers The Same Thing?

This is a very popular question and has a very simple answer. Knee scooters and knee walkers are indeed the same thing! These terms are used interchangeably and often get confused on which term is correct to use.

Either way you call it, we have what you need and can answer any confusions you may have on your time of arrival.
